In the course we study and discuss current language education research on acquiring and teaching first, second and foreign languages. We also investigate the relationship between problematic areas of language education research and teaching practices in different contexts. With current language education research as a point of departure, we analyse and compare policy documents from different language teaching contexts.

Once the course is in progress, the web-based learning platform Canvas will be used for communication, learning activities and course assignments.
