In total, 72,515 international students applied for a master's degree and 14,729 students for a bachelor’s degree in Sweden in this call with the application deadline of 15 January.

Last year's application period had 12,676 applicants to the university's master's programmes.

Next step in the application process

The applicants will now submit their supporting documents by 1 February. The notification of selection results for master's applicants will be announced on 4 April, and for bachelor's applicants on 18 April.
