Nordplus

Nordplus is the Nordic Council of Ministers' framework program for education mobility in the Nordic countries. Nordplus’ higher education is based on a shared network which provides support for student and teacher exchange.

Application

If your department participates in a Nordplus network, you can apply for an exchange and scholarship through your department. This is possible when the call for application is open.

The Nordplus scholarship

During your exchange, you will be able to keep your student grant (e.g. CSN) at the same time as you apply for a Nordplus scholarship and a grant for travel expenses.

Who can participate in Nordplus?

To participate in Nordplus, you must:

  • Have completed at least one year of academic studies (one education cycle).
  • Be able to transfer credit of your courses to Stockholm University.
  • Study at least one month, but no more than 12 months at the host university.

If your department does not offer an exchange through Nordplus, you may be able to apply to the university-wide network Nordlys instead.

If you are an international student currently studying in Sweden and looking at studying abroad, please read through this FAQ (the section for Exchange studies) before you apply. Applying for an exchange may affect your residence permit in Sweden.
