Short-term exchange

Do you want to study abroad without having to spend a whole semester away? In that case a summer course, a traineeship or field studies could be a good option.

To study abroad during a period of time is often very rewarding, from an academic as well as a personal perspective. However, for some students it can be difficult to be away for a whole semester. Here you find information about our short-term exchange possibilities. More information about requirements, application procedures and deadlines is detailed in each call for application.

Study in a European capital

For several years Stockholm University has been a member of UNICA – an institutional network of 51 universities in 37 capital cities in Europe, whose members offer many different types of short courses during summer and winter. The aim of the network is, for instance, to work for quality, integration and collaboration between different universities.
Among other things the network collaborates with the student network Erasmus Student Network and the organisation Scholars at Risk (who work with human rights and freedom of speech within higher education).
