The nurses at Stockholm Student Health Services offer many different workshops during the autumn 2019. The aim is to provide you with knowledge and tools to promote your health. You are welcome to participate and everything is free of charge!

Day: Tuesday September 17 at 11-13

Welcome to Stockholm Student Health Services' lunch break yoga classes!

The classes are free of charge and take place every Wednesday at 12.15–12.45 in Ekosalen, Studenthuset. You don't need to sign up in advance – just drop in! The classes are held by our nurses Susanne Ghomashi and Elisabeth Jeppsson. Please note that these events are in Swedish but that non-Swedish speakers can benefit as well.

Please note that there is no yoga class on Wednesday 30 October.

Life as a student can sometimes be hectic and stressful. You might experience that you tend to breathe faster, forget about taking breaks or become self-critical.

Learn more about strategies for wellbeing!

Welcome to a workshop where you will practice breathing excercises, learn about different forms of recovery and how to act with compassion and selfcare. We will focus on what is helpful, in the short and the long run, for wellbeing.

Are you considering giving up smoking? Welcome to attend Stockholm Student Health Services inspirational workshop about quitting tobacco! Perhaps you have previous experience of trying to quit, or fears about quitting? Now you get a chance to explore, together with us, how you can increase your motivation, develop strategies and learn about available support. Hopefully you will be inspired to make a change!

Are you feeling tired? Do you have problems getting enough sleep? Do you want to know how you can change your sleeping habits easily? Welcome to a workshop on sleep!

Circumstances can now and then lead to stress, worries or difficulties slowing down, which sometimes disturbs your sleep. As a consequence your mood and concentration may be affected. If you start worrying about not sleeping enough it can lead to more stress. Do you recognise this, or do you have other thoughts or questions about your sleep? Welcome to a workshop organised by Stockholm Student Health Services where we provide tools for better sleep!
