Applicants on the waiting/reserve list

We have a much decentralised organisation at Stockholm University and everything concerning students on the waiting (reserve) list is handled by the department that offers the course or programme.

Please note that the course/programme might use excess enrolment at the selection. This means that more applicants are admitted than there are places on the course/programme at the selection which might cause that no one on the waiting list will be admitted.

Application in the First admission round

With deadline 16 January (autumn semester) and 15 August (spring semester)

You should contact the department directly. You can find the department that the course/programme belongs to via our course catalogue

Application in the Second admission round

With deadline 17 April (autumn semester) and 16 October (spring semester)

If you are placed on the waiting list after the first notification of selection results, you must reply yes to your place on the waiting list on universityadmissions.se by the deadline. If you are still on the waiting list when the second notification of selection results is published, you can contact the department directly regarding whether the department will admit students from the waiting list. You can find the department that the course/programme belongs to via our course catalogue
