Late application

The courses and programmes that open for late application will have an active 'Application’ button next to them in the search results on Stockholm University’s course catalogue. The selection for the available places among the eligible applicants that submit late applications will be based on the date when the application is submitted. Please note that it is not possible to delete applications to courses and programmes at Stockholm University that have already been processed.

International students

All international students are encouraged to apply on time, in the first admission round. This will allow them to receive an admission offer well before the start of the semester, allowing them to have enough time to prepare for the start of the studies in Sweden. Students who need to apply for- and obtain a residence permit for studies in Sweden are not encouraged to submit late applications for courses and programmes that require physical attendance from the start of the autumn semester.
