Important dates

Application dates for courses and programmes at bachelor's and master's level for international students applying through universityadmissions.se, not for exchange students from partner universities.

 

First admission round timeline 

All international students are encouraged to apply to the First admission round. This round takes place many months before the start of a semester and gives students the time they need to pay their tuition fees, apply for and receive their residence permit (if required), find housing, etc.

15 August Admission application deadline
1 September  Deadline for receipt of supporting documents and deadline for receipt of application fee/document you're not required to pay
5 October Notification of Selection Results
15 January 2024 Spring semester starts

 

Second admission round timeline 

The Second admission round is an alternative for students from EU/EEA countries as they do not need a residence permit. Non-EU/EEA students will most likely not have enough time to obtain their permit before the start of the semester. Please note that not all courses and programmes are open in the second admission round.

16 October Admission application deadline at midnight CET 
1 November Deadline for receipt of application fee/document you're not required to pay
1 December Deadline for receipt of supporting documents
11 December First Notification of Selection Results
