Important dates

Application dates for courses and programmes at bachelor's and master's level for international students applying through universityadmissions.se, not for exchange students from partner universities.

 

First admission round timeline 

All international students are encouraged to apply to the First admission round. This round takes place many months before the start of a semester and gives students the time they need to pay their tuition fees, apply for and receive their residence permit (if required), find housing, etc.

Second admission round timeline

The Second admission round is an alternative for students from EU/EEA countries as they do not need a residence permit. Non-EU/EEA students will most likely not have enough time to obtain their permit before the start of the semester. Please note that not all courses and programmes are open in the second admission round. 

15 March Online service opens on universityadmissions.se 
19 April Admission application deadline at midnight CET
3 May Deadline for receipt of application fee or document you're not required to pay the fee
21 June Deadline for receipt of supporting documentation for applicants completing upper secondary school after the application deadline
12 July First selection results and reply to your offer
12 July Late application opens
22 July Last day to reply to your offer
28 July Second selection results  - no reply required
