Inspera
Inspera is used for digital exams. Among other things, Inspera has the following functionality:
- Automatic transfer to Ladok
- Plagiarism control
- Extensions for digital accessibility such as speech synthesis, increased contrast, and text size.
- Possibility to give students extra time due to needs, breaks or incidents.
- Locked examination, examination with selected aids or open book examination
- Automatically corrected questions and manually corrected questions
- And much more
As a student, you can test how the tool works by logging in to Inspera and clicking on the Demotenta tab. This is the same link that you log in to complete your exams.
Privacy
Stockholm University shares information with Inspera to make it possible for you as a student to complete digital exams. We only share necessary information with Inspera to be able to complete the exam in the tool.
What information we share with Inspera is governed by the laws and regulations governing higher education and the rules that apply to exams at Stockholm University
An anonymization code is transferred from Ladok to be able to link the exams you have registered for via Ladok to the correct exam in Inspera. This is necessary information for you to be able to complete the exam.
While you are logged into Inspera to complete the exam, your name is shared with Inspera so that exam hosts can check that the right student completes the exam. When you log out of Inspera, this information is removed.
When the exam is assessed, your result is transferred from Inspera to Ladok. The result is linked to you in Ladok using your anonymization code.
In accordance with SU's rules, the exam is deleted after two years. This also applies to Inspera.
Schedules
Most departments at the university uses the university’s scheduling system TimeEdit. Please note that a few departments do not use TimeEdit. Should the schedule you are interested in be unavailable within four weeks prior to the course’s introduction, please contact the department in charge.
