Jonas Ebbesson is a professor of Environmental Law and Director of Stockholm Environmental Law and Policy Centre, at Stockholm University. In his work he explores the international and cross-border dimensions of environmental law, with a particular focus on public participation, access to justice and the links between environmental protection and human rights.
He has also contributed to global discussions on issues such as corporate environmental liability and legal frameworks for sustainability. Moreover, his research has informed policy development in national ministries and international organisations including the United Nations Environment Programme.
In the classroom, Jonas Ebbesson brings these perspectives on environmental governance and justice into the teaching of environmental law.
