Meet Joonas Tuhkuri, an economist and Assistant Professor of Economics at Stockholm University. His research focuses on how technology, work and psychology interact, using novel large scale data to study questions such as how advanced technologies affect jobs and what skills matter in a changing labour market. His work has influenced international debates on the future of work and has been featured in outlets such as The Economist, Wired, Bloomberg and The Washington Post. In his teaching, he brings these insights on technology, employment and the future of jobs straight into the economics classroom at Stockholm University.
