Are you admitted to a summer course?

This summer is not like other summers at Stockholm University which means that many questions can arise for our students. In this article, we have gathered together some tips to help get you started as smoothly as possible.

Online teaching until 30 August

The University plans to make a partial return to campus-based teaching from 31 August 2020, provided the authorities' recommendations and rules allow for this change. Detailed planning for the autumn term will be carried out by departments. A decision will be communicated to students via the department's website as soon as possible, and no later than 15 July.

E-meeting service Zoom is releasing a new version that mainly focusses on functions related to security. All Zoom users need to upgrade before May 31 in order to keep using Zoom.

Students admitted to international master's programmes increase by 17 percent

The notification of selection results has now been sent out to all who applied for master's programmes starting this autumn. Across the country, the number of admitted students increased by 13 percent compared to the autumn term in 2019.

Free online training courses in SAS

During the autumn, SU will merge the current SAS platform from 9.x to SAS Viya. Now you have the opportunity to attend web training in the statistical software SAS free of charge.

Number of international students in Stockholm continues to increase

The number of international students at Stockholm's higher education institutions is now approaching 10,000 and has increased by 26 percent over the past five academic years.
