Insurance

All students at Swedish universities and university colleges are covered by a personal injury insurance. It provides coverage while on campus and on your way to and from campus. The insurance is free and you are covered automatically.

International exchange students are also covered by an extra insurance “student-IN”:

If you get ill and have student finance via CSN you have to submit an illness report to Försäkringskassan. Then you can keep your student finance and CSN can take in to account that you have been ill when your study results are verified.
