Appointment booking

As a student you can book an appointment for counselling with us. Below you find information about our services and how to use our online booking system.

Being a student can be challenging, stressful and worrying at times and it may cause a negative impact on your well-being as well as on your studies.

If you think you would gain from individual counselling in order to come to terms with your problems you are welcome to book an appointment with us.

  • We post new times for appointments on Fridays at 08.30. Se below how to book.
  • We post time slots for one week at a time. You need to manually adjust the calendar to search for available times for the entire week.
  • We kindly ask you not to book more than one appointment.

How to book an appointment

If you do not have a Swedish personal identity number, please enter date of birth (yyyymmdd) followed by 0000.

In our online booking system you can book a health and lifestyle consultation or an appointment with a counsellor. The booking system is in Swedish. We offer appointments at our clinic or by telephone.

  • If you would like to come in person, please choose the option "Nybesök på Studenthuset SU".
  • If you would like to have your consultation over telephone, please choose "Nybesök via telefon".
  • Please note that it is important that you enter your mobile phone number when booking an appointment.

Here you can book an appointment for a consultation with a counsellor, psychologist, or occupational health nurse trained in basic psychotherapy. If you book a telephone consultation, we will call you at the time you have booked. Welcome!

Health and lifestyle consultation

You are welcome to contact our occupational health nurses for a health and lifestyle consultation. You can discuss your sleeping patterns, eating habits, stress and how you take care of yourself etc.

Our Stop Procrastination Programme combines self-help materials with individual guidance sessions.

Video consultation

From your second visit, you have the option to have consultations via video. You can use a computer, phone, or iPad for the video call. If you want to know more or wish to book a video consultation, you can discuss it with the staff you are meeting. Unfortunately, it is not possible to book initial visits via video due to technical reasons.

Manual for video consultation

We offer limited individual counselling for problems such as stress, depression, anxiety, alcohol habits and other life style issues as well as different study related problems such as performance anxiety, procrastination and fear of speech.

Severe mental health problems

If you suffer from severe mental health problems we recommend that you contact the nearest health care clinic (vårdcentral) or a psychiatric clinic.
