Albano

Albano is a residential area established in 2023 and situated on campus. Here we provide 152 accommodations to international students at Stockholm University. This modern area offers a variety of housing options, including studio apartments and a limited number of one- and two-bedroom apartments. We primarily reserve our larger apartments for families.

Albano is a housing area featuring buildings ranging from the ground to 6th floor. Close to campus and also conveniently near the city center and green spaces.

Within Albano, there are 134 studio apartments, along with 12 one-bedroom and 4 two-bedroom apartments. The Housing Office manages a portion of the available accommodations. All the buildings are owned by Svenska Bostäder.

Studios range between 18–31 square meters, one-bedroom between 43–55 square meters, and two-bedroom between 68–73 square meters.

Each accommodation has a kitchen, bathroom (shower and WC), and comes fully furnished. The building also has two large laundry rooms on the ground floor.

Essentials

All our accommodations at Albano are furnished with a bed, mattress, kitchen table and chairs. Some of the rooms also have curtains. All rooms have blinds and lamps. Please note that you need to bring your own quilt, pillow, sheets, and towels. Most studio accommodations have a single bed: 90×200 cm.

The kitchen is equipped with necessities such as pots, pans, glasses, etc. The kitchen is also equipped with refrigerators, freezers, stove, cupboards, cooking utensils and dinnerware.
