Remus

Remus is located in Frescati Hage, in the Royal National City Park – a peaceful area near Lake Brunnsviken, just a ten-minute walk from Campus Frescati and Campus Albano. The apartments are available for international students.

Remus is a carefully renovated 1940s building that now offers sustainable and comfortable housing for international students. The apartments are complemented by shared social areas designed to encourage interaction and a sense of community.

Remus is located close to Universitetet underground station, with a travel time of about five minutes to central Stockholm.

Rent

The listed rent applies to the academic year 2024/2025 and is per semester:

  • Shared apartment: SEK 34,500–35,500
  • Small studio: SEK 35,500
  • Studio: SEK 39,000
  • Large studio: SEK 45,500
  • One-bedroom apartment: SEK 62,500–64,500
  • Two-bedroom apartment: SEK 80,000

Housing details

The building offers 72 apartments housing up to 86 residents. Accommodation options include shared apartments with four to six bedrooms, studio apartments, one-bedroom apartments, and two-bedroom apartments.

All apartments are furnished and ready for move-in, equipped with a bed, bedside table, wardrobe, table, and chair (in studio apartments). You need to bring your own duvet, pillow, bed linen, and towels.

The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, stove and oven, microwave, crockery, and basic cooking utensils.

Living in Remus

This section contains practical information about living in Remus, including internet access, keys, laundry facilities, parking and recycling.

Internet

Each apartment has a wireless router installed in the hallway. Instructions for connecting are provided on the back of the router. Internet is included in the rent and offers speeds of 250/250 Mbit/s.

Laundry

Washing machines and dryers are available in the shared laundry room. You can book your laundry slot via a digital booking system.

Parking

Available through staff parking or Aimo Park. Bicycles can be parked in the designated bike racks outside the building.

Postbox

Each apartment has its own postbox, located at the building entrance. Postboxes are labelled with apartment numbers.

Recycling

Recycling stations are located outside the building. Tenants are responsible for sorting and disposing of waste according to local regulations. This includes separating general waste, food waste and recyclables.
