Housing for international students

Exchange students and tuition fee-paying students are welcome to apply for university housing. We offer a range of housing options, from affordable corridor rooms to family apartments.

Only certain international students are eligible for housing. A government decision allows universities in Sweden to offer accommodation to

Stockholm University Scholarship Scheme and Swedish Institute scholarship students who study for at least one semester
exchange students who study for at least one semester
tuition-paying students who study for at least one semester
exchange doctoral students who study for at least one semester

Finding housing on your own

There is no housing guarantee for those who apply. Due to a shortage of housing in Stockholm, we can only offer accommodations to a limited number of students.
