The University merges its two Facebook pages to one
 

Earlier this year, the External Relations and Communications Office, which runs the University’s main Facebook pages, made the decision to strengthen the University’s presence on the platform by integrating its two main Facebook pages. Simplifying the way the University works with Facebook will give more time for publishing quality content, and will make the management of Facebook more effective.

The merger process, which was completed on 4 August 2018, means that the University now has one central page, at https://facebook.com/stockholmuniversity, with most posts being published in both English and Swedish. Which post the user sees depends on the language chosen for the Facebook interface: if you chose to use Facebook in Swedish you will see the Swedish post; if you use Facebook in another language you will see the English language post. 

Followers of the old Facebook page @stockholmsuniversitet have been transferred to the new page, with the result that @stockholmuniversity now has over 113,000 followers.
