Academic Pride

Stockholm University will participate in the EuroPride parade in Stockholm on Saturday, August 4th. Everyone is welcome to join us!

For the third time Stockholm will be the host of EuroPride, a 10-day long event with seminars, debates, concerts and festivities. The highlight of EuroPride is the 4.3 kilometer long parade that is a joyful and colorful manifestation of human rights. Each year around 45,000 people participate in the parade and nearly 500,000 watch it wind through central Stockholm.

Stockholm University will march behind the Academic Pride banner, a collaboration between several of the colleges and universities in Stockholm including KTH Royal Institute of Tehcnology, Karolinska Institutet and Stockholm School of Economics. The parade starts at 13:00 near the Stockholm city hall and we will meet 11:30 at Rålambshovsparken under the Academic Pride banner.

We hope to see many of you there! The first participants will get a free Academic Pride/SU t-shirt!
