Nordplus grant

If your department participates in a Nordplus network you can apply for an exchange position and a scholarship when they announce a call for applicants. At many departments the grant is generated automatically when applying. Contact your departmental exchange coordinators for more information. Link to Exchange Coordinators.

You will retain your student aid during your stay abroad, and you are also entitled to a Nordplus scholarship and a travel grant.

Nordlys grant

All students admitted to one of the partner universities within the Nordlys network may apply for a Nordplus-grant.

The maximum amount of the grant is 200 € per month, plus a grant for travel expences. The amount of the grant depends on how much money Stockholm University receives for the academic year and how many students that apply for the grant, which could result in a lower amount. You are allowed to retain your CSN student loan during your stay abroad.

To be eligible for a Nordlys exchange you must:

  • have completed at least one year of academic studies;
  • be able to include your studies abroad in your degree from Stockholm University;
  • study between 1 - 12 months at the host university.

The call for applications for the Nordlys exchange program is done once a year each Spring and will be published here: ”Call for Application”.  The online application for 2018/19 will be open from 1-31 mars 2018.
