General study and career counsellors
Our general study and career counsellors can help you with information about studying at Stockholm University, such as programmes and courses available and eligibility requirements. This service is free of charge to prospective as well as existing students.
When visiting our drop-in reception you will also have the opportunity to get individual guidance and support in the process of making a well-founded decision about your studies and career.

You are welcome to call during phone hours, connect to a video call on Zoom, visit Studenthuset or send an e-mail. On Zoom and in Studenthuset you can meet a general study and career counsellor for more personal guidance. You don't need to book an appointment. If it is a busy day, you will be placed in a queue. The waiting time might be a little longer around the key dates and deadlines for admission to Swedish universities.

Take a queue ticket from the machine by the Infocenter (on the entrance level) and go up the stairs to the waiting room. We will pick you up in the waiting room when it is your turn.

Departmental study and career counsellors
Students are welcome to contact the study and career counsellors at the department responsible for a specific field of study. Each department has at least one study counsellor whose task it is to answer questions related to specific courses or programmes of study given by their department.
