Follow these steps

  • Go to the library's webpage
  • Search in the search box, via Databases a-z, or via any other link under the search box
  • Select a book, article or Database and you will be referred to the university account login (first time in your session)
  • Log in with your university account

Even when you are at the university using eduroam you need to follow these instructions to get access.

Another method to get access from outside the university domain is to use an extension in your browser or the library bookmarklet.

The University Account

You’ll need to enable your university account before you can access the library material.

If you are a student, activate your account.

If you are employed by Stockholm University and do not have a university account, please contact the Stockholm University IT-support.

If you have any problems with your university account, please contact the Stockholm University IT-support.

Settings in your browser

In order for the remote access service to work on your computer, the following requirements must be met:

  • Your browser must accept cookies
  • Your browser must accept JavaScript
  • We recommend that you turn off the pop-up blocker in your browser, or at least allow pop-up windows from ezp.sub.su.se

Bookmarks

You cannot save a bookmark directly to a database or e-journal. Since remote access is based on dynamic URLs, bookmarks will not lead to the same place the second time they’re used.
