How do I proceed as a corresponding author?

In addition to stating your affiliation with Stockholm University, it is important that you use your SU email address when submitting a manuscript to one of De Gruyter’s journals.

Publishing in De Gruyter open access journals

On acceptance of your article, email oafunding@degruyter.com and/or the journal editor and request 30% discount on the APC. Refer to the university’s agreement and ask the publisher to invoice the library directly at openaccess@su.se. Alternatively, you can forward the invoice to us.

Publishing in De Gruyter hybrid journals

On acceptance of your article, email oafunding@degruyter.com and/or the journal editor and request your article to be published open access. Refer to the university’s agreement. You will not receive an invoice, this will be sent to the library at the end of the year.

Journals included

The agreement includes unlimited open access publishing in hybrid and full open access journals.

About the agreement

APCs for articles in De Gruyter full open access journals are discounted with 30%. As a rule, the invoice is sent to the author. Since the library covers all APCs in full open access journals, please forward these invoices to openaccess@su.se.

APCs for open access articles published in De Gruyter’s hybrid journals are discounted with 90% and invoiced directly to the library at the end of the year.

The agreement is a national so called “Offsetting” agreement. The agreement was negotiated by the National Library and in addition to Stockholm University, 4 other Swedish research institutes have joined.
