How do I proceed as a corresponding author?

Once your article has been accepted, Springer will send you a link to the MyPublication form. There you will be asked to state your affiliation from a list of institutions. Choose Stockholm University and use your SU email address.

The library will then verify your affiliation. Once the verification is complete the article will be open access immediately at the time of publication.

What’s included?

Most of Springer’s hybrid journals (subscription-based journals where individual articles may be open access with an APC), are included. Journals published by Palgrave Macmillan, part of Springer Nature, are not included.

  • List of journals 2020 (xlsx, Springer's webb)
  • Article types: Original Papers, Review Papers, Brief Communications, Continuous Education
  • Articles are licensed as CC-BY

About the agreement

The agreement is a national so called “Offsetting” agreement. The APCs are already prepaid, since the agreement includes both the costs of the library's subscriptions as well as the costs of open access publishing. The agreement was negotiated by the National Library and in addition to Stockholm University, about 40 other Swedish research institutes have joined.

About the agreement (Springer website)
