How do I proceed as a corresponding author?

Upon acceptance of an article, the corresponding author receives an email with a link to Springer Nature’s Eligibility Checker, a tool where you verify your affiliation. Please enter Stockholm University (in English) and confirm.

The library will then approve to fund the APC and the article will be published at no cost to you.

  • The agreement applies to articles accepted from 15 July onwards. If your article was accepted for publication before this date and you receive an APC invoice from the publisher, please forward it to the library at openaccess@su.se.

What’s included?

The agreement covers the APCs for Stockholm University corresponding authors in fully open access journals:
Springer Nature Fully OA journals 2019 (Excel) (34 Kb)

About the agreement

The agreement is in effect 15 July 2019 – 31 December 2021 and is the first of its kind that the publisher Springer Nature signs with a library consortium. Through the agreement, the publisher will receive an advance payment for articles accepted for publishing in Springer Nature’s fully open access journals. The Swedish Research Council, Formas, Forte and Vinnova fund 50 percent of the cost of publishing. The remaining 50 percent is covered by the universities.
