How do I proceed as a corresponding author?

In addition to stating your affiliation with Stockholm University, it is important that you use your SU email address when submitting a manuscript to a Taylor & Francis journal. This way the publisher will automatically identify articles that qualifie for open access publishing within the library's agreement.

On acceptance of the article, the library is notified and asked to verify your affiliation. Shortly after, you’ll receive an email from Taylor & Francis, asking you to choose an open access licence for your article. When you have done this, the article is published open access.

What’s included?

Open access publishing, free of charge, for peer review articles only (i. e. article types like Orignal Papers or Review Papers) in both subscription (hybrid) journals and full open access journals:

About the agreement

The agreement is a national so-called “Read & Publish” agreement. The APCs are already prepaid, since the agreement includes both the costs of the library's subscriptions as well as the costs of open access publishing. The agreement was negotiated by The National Library of Sweden and in addition to Stockholm University, about 40 other Swedish research institutes have joined.

Centrally funded APCs for publications in Taylor & Francis full open access journals are not included in the national agreement. This applies to researchers at Stockholm University only.
