Some students may encounter problems activating their university accounts
Students who do not have a Swedish personal number or registered Swedish address cannot activate their university accounts in the usual way, but must do so using a one-time code. Students who are on campus can get the one-time code at Infocenter, but distance students need to get a code via their department.

Due to a change in guidelines at universityadmissions.se, some students may experience problems when activating and resetting their university accounts. This makes it impossible to register for courses in LADOK as it requires a login with a university account.
Those affected by this are students without a Swedish personal number and students who have a Swedish personal number but are not registered in Sweden.
Pending a long-term solution, affected students must receive a one-time code to activate their university accounts. If you are on campus, you can go to Infocenter in the Student House and get a one-time code by showing a valid ID.
If you are studying remotely, you must obtain a one-time code from your department. If you have not already been contacted by someone there, you can email them and ask for a one-time code to activate your university account. Attach a scanned image of the photo page to your passport or other valid photo ID. Once you have received the one-time code, you can go to su.se/activate and use it to activate your university account. Note that the one-time code is only valid for one week.
