Become a Digital Student Ambassador for Stockholm University’s social media channels
Are you passionate about your studies at Stockholm University? Do you enjoy creating content for social media and sharing your everyday student life? We’re looking for Digital Student Ambassadors to join our team during the autumn term and help future students discover what it’s really like to study at Stockholm University.
As a Digital Student Ambassador, you'll use your own experiences from your programme and subject area and creativity to showcase student life, academic experiences, and the opportunities available at Stockholm University through our social media channels. The assignment is linked to your ongoing studies at Stockholm University.
What does being a Digital Student Ambassador mean?
As a Digital Student Ambassador, you will contribute to Stockholm University’s digital communication for prospective students. You will create content for Stockholm University’s digital channels, including Instagram and TikTok, based on your current experience as a student at Stockholm University.
Your tasks may include:
- creating posts and videos about your studies, your programme or subject area, and student life at Stockholm University
- sharing your student perspective on studying at SU and living in Stockholm
- contributing with creative ideas for digital content that helps prospective students understand SU’s education, academic environment and student life
- participating in monthly meetings and feedback sessions with the Communications Office
- collaborating with other student ambassadors and staff at the Communications Office
- ensuring that the content you produce is accurate, relevant and based on your own experience as a student
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking students who:
- Are a Swedish or international student enrolled full-time in a study programme at Stockholm University.
- Think SU is a unique place to study and want to share that perspective.
- Want to communicate about their own studies, subject area or programme in an engaging way.
- Have excellent English skills, as the content will mainly be produced in English.
- Are comfortable behind as well as in front of the camera, creating content for social media, including photos, videos, reels and stories.
- Are outgoing, creative, and passionate about photos and film as storytelling tools.
- Are organised, reliable and able to work independently as well as able to work in a team.
Previous experience of creating content for social media is an advantage, but the most important requirement is that you can communicate your own student experience and subject perspective in a clear, authentic and responsible way.

- The name of the programme or course you are currently enrolled in at Stockholm University, including information about whether you are studying at bachelor’s or master’s level.
- Your CV.
- A short video, about 30 seconds, where you introduce yourself and explain why you want to work as a Digital Student Ambassador for Stockholm University.
- Examples of content you have created for social media, such as posts, reels, videos or photos. You can share a public link or attach examples.
- Specify in your application if you are interested in joining the Instagram team or the TikTok team
Commitment and requirements
- You are expected to dedicate about 16 hours per month to your work as digital ambassador
- You should be available to work throughout the entire autumn term (September to January), with the possibility of continuing in the next semester.
- If you don't have a Swedish bank account yet, you will need to open one in order to receive payment.
