Changes to SU’s Wi-Fi network

Soon the SU Wi-Fi will be split into two separate networks: one for staff and students, and one for guests. The change is being made to make things safer and easier for visitors to get online.

 The networks will be:

  • "SU" – for staff and students
  • "SU-guest" – for guests

Staff and students will log in to the SU WiFi with their usual university account. Guests can connect to SU-guest using just their email address – no more one-time codes needed.

The date for this change will be 2 October between 5.00 pm and 8.00 pm.
