Collaboration the key to mathematical breakthroughs

Dan Petersen is of the view that research progress in mathematics is very much down to luck. But it is easier to be lucky by cultivating collaboration with other mathematicians across the world. Thanks to his Wallenberg Scholar grant, this will now be easier.
