You can now activate your university account with BankID
You can now verify yourself with BankID at su.se/activate. This will give your university account the higher assurance level needed to log into certain systems such as Ladok.
The account activation system su.se/activate, which received a completely new, modern and accessible interface this summer, has now taken the next step. As of the autumn semester, students with a Swedish personal identity number can activate their university account using BankID. By activating your student account with BankID, your account will automatically receive the SWAMID AL2 assurance level, which is required for logging in to Ladok, among other things.
If you have a university account created before autumn semester 2024 and you have a BankID, you can go to su.se/activate and verify yourself with BankID to get the higher assurance level on your university account. Once you have done this, you will no longer need to log in to Ladok using the alternative methods antagning.se or eduID, as was the case during the spring semester, you can use your regular university account (AL2) instead.
If you are unable to obtain a BankID, you can still log in to Ladok using your antagning.se or eduID account.
If you don’t have a Swedish personal identity number ("personnummer") you can continue logging in to Ladok with your regular university account (AL1) as usual.
