About me

My overall research interests are upper secondary school students’ learning process, epistemological beliefs, pro-environmental values and norms.

My research examines changes in students’ understanding of economic aspects of global environmental problems and focus on students’ ideas of links between pricing goods and social costs of climate change consequences. I have a special interest in students’ formation of values and beliefs regarding efficient solutions to climate change as well as individuals’ norms for pro-environmental actions in terms of private sphere behavior and public sphere behaviour.

Current research explores changes in students’ beliefs of scientific knowledge certainty and links between beliefs of knowledge certainty and climate change solutions.
