Andrew Thomas Cooper Lecturer

My main teaching areas are English grammar and the history of the English language. I am course coordinator for the English language part of the primary school teacher programme (pre-school to grade 3).

I supervise final papers on the history of the English language, English grammar, and semantics.

I am a graduate of the Special Doctoral School in Linguistics at Stockholm University and completed my PhD in 2017. Since then I have been a lecturer at Stockholm University and at Uppsala University since 2020, permanently at SU from 2024. As of 2020, I am also the Director of the Ormulum Project at Stockholm University.
