About me
Hi! I’m Antonis Matakos, an Assistant Professor/Associate Senior Lecturer (Biträdande Lektor) in Machine Learning and Data Science at the Department of Computer and Systems Sciences. Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Computer Science of Aalto University in Finland, where I also completed my PhD. I hold a BSc and MSc in Computer Science from the University of Ioannina, Greece.

My research lies in Machine Learning and Data Science, with a focus on theoretically grounded methods that address practical and socially relevant problems. More specifically, I am currently interested in the following topics:
