I have taught the courses

Språkanalys med svensk fonologi och grammatik (Language Analysis with Swedish Phonology and Grammar) and  Språkutveckling och svenska språkets struktur (Language Development and the Structure of the Swedish Language), which are part of the Primary Teacher Education Program for grades 4–6 and for preschool and grades 1–3, respectively.

I have also taught the course 

Svenskans uttal i inlärningsperspektiv (Swedish Pronunciation from a Learning Perspective), which is included in the course package Swedish as a Second Language II.

In my dissertation project, I investigate the occurrence of the prosodic phenomenon stød in Danish nonsense words. By investigating stød in nonce words words, I aim to provide insight into which generalizations about stød distribution speakers transfer to unfamiliar words. The method involves recording speakers' readings of a series of nonce words words, which are constructed based on the generalizations being tested. The project consists of three different studies on stød in nonce words, focusing on stress placement, syllable structure, and morphology.

My main area of research is phonology, but I am also interested in mutual intelligibility between closely related languages. For example, I have written a bachelor's thesis and master's thesis on how Swedes and Norwegians perceive and understand Danish pronunciation.
