About me

I am a political scientist and researcher at the University of Edinburgh and at Uppsala University. At the Department of Sociology, I am working in the research project "Exposure to Swedish society and immigrant integration: The family formation of immigrants who arrive as children".

I am interested in social, economic, and demographic change in Europe and North America, particularly in the areas of migration, ageing, family and work. My current projects are on childbearing choices in Europe, migration and healthcare, and fear as a political concept.
