About me
I am a biologist and bioinformatician working on evolutionary genomics, with a particular focus on the adaptive mechanisms of organisms to selective pressures. During my PhD, I investigated the genetic basis of insecticide resistance in a nightmarish insect, the common bed bug Cimex lectularius, using large-scale genomics data and molecular biology. My current postdoctoral research in the Stelkens Lab focuses on the genomics of thermal adaptation in Saccharomyces yeasts, in the context of global climate change.
