About me

I hold a BA in general linguistics (2013) from Gothenburg University/ Stockholm University and an MA in language education (2017) from Stockholm University. During and after my studies, I taught Spanish at a secondary school, Catalan at a school for adults, and English in classes for young newcomers. In September 2017, I began my doctoral studies.

My research interests lie within psycholinguistic and educational aspects of multilingual language learning. In my doctoral thesis, I investigate the effects of various factors on the strategic vs. unintentional use of lexical transfer by multilingual school students of Spanish. The results are discussed both in the context of psycho- /neurolinguistic models of language representation and in the context of language education. I use both qualitative analyses and inferential statistics to examine the data.
