Research group

Adult Learning

The research group has a broad interest in adults learning from adolescence to older ages. We study formal learning in adult education, higher education and popular education, but also learning in informal setting such as working and leisure life. We have a specific interest in studying transitions between different life events, education, and work.

About me

I am a PhD student at the Department of Education. I have a long experience of working as a teacher (English and Swedish as L2, special needs), mostly within the adult education area, but even with young children. 

My current research is situated within the area of adult education and the aspects of teaching accomodations in relation to students' special needs. One of my additional interests covers questions on bilingualism and Swedish as L2, in relation to special needs educational aspects.
