About me

I hold a Master of Science in Biology from Stockholm University. Main studies in biology-related disciplines included water resources, resilience theory and sustainability, geographical analysis and visualisation in GIS, photogrammetry and remote sensing with a touch of international environmental issues. My main interests revolve around water resources and earth observation techniques with propensity towards data processing.

My PhD project focuses on combining ocean colour remote sensing and hydrological parameters to evaluate the effect of terrestrial run-off on coastal ecology. The aim of my work is to identify water quality parameters that are both derived by means of ocean color radiometry and conventional hydrological models used in Sweden.

My main supervisor is Associate Professor Susanne Kratzer at the Department, of Ecology, Environment and Plant Sciences.

My research is funded by Swedish Space Board (SNSB), European Space Agency (ESA) and by the Department of Ecology, Environment and Plant Sciences at SU.

My co-supervisors are:

Professor Steve Lyon at the Department of Physical Geography.

Dr. Michelle McCrackin at Baltic Eye (Baltic Sea Centre).
