Emy Lindberg Teacher

Emy Lindberg defended her thesis Dream Machine: an Ethnography of Football Migration between Ghana and Sweden in January 2024. In addition to sports migration, her research explores themes such as dreams, transnational family structures, the political economy of the global football industry, masculinities, race, and time. She is a teacher at the Department of Social Anthropology and is currently working on a follow-up project on football migration, as well as a new research project on Swedish elderly care.
