About me

My research largely focus on mental health and wellbeing for children and families and how social determinants are associated with health and development. Another research interest is stress and inflammation in mental health and ill-health.

Projects

In the project Mental health of mothers and fathers after separation we focus on parents’ health in association with children’s living arrangements after parental separation in different social groups and how this association interacts with material and social circumstances.

In BVC-ELVIS we are conducting research within the child health care centers (BVC) regarding new methods for nurses to work with psychosocial health. We will also collect data on the wellbeing of children living in joint physical custody (växelvis boende).

In Elvis projektet we investigate mental health and wellbeing of children in joint physical custody and parents experiences of this living arrangement for young children. The project is funded through Länsförsäkringsbolagens forskningfond.
