About me

Interests:

My research revolves around operator group algebras, providing broadly speaking functional analytic means to study groups, and interactions between operator algebraic properties and group properties. For instance, I am studying both good (type I) and bad (C*-simple) properties of unitary representation theories of a group.

Some PhD classes I happened to sit in:

  • Abstract Harmonic Analysis, S. Raum, 2017, EPFL;
  • Tannakian Categories, W. Goldring, 2019, SU;
  • Characteristic Classes, T. Bauer, 2019, KTH;
  • Ethics in Research (modern version of Marxism - Leninism),  2019, Stockholm;
  • Infinity categories, Peter Lefanu Lumsdaine, 2019, SU;
  • Mathematics education at university level (project about connections between mastery of linguistics and mathematical ability), Tornbjörn Tambour, 2019, SU.

Little about me:

If I'm not doing research or teaching, I am most likely contemplating the absurdity of our existence, reading swedish, or out in the nature (in a broad sense). I’m born somewhere in 1996, hard to say when precisely. You can e-mail me in German, Swedish, English or French, but I will answer accordingly (most likely in one of the latter).

Past, ongoing and upcoming activities:

  • PhD talk on the Haar measure (15/03/2019, Stochkolm);

  • Swedish A-B class (A2 level, January - August 2019);

  • Analysis, geometry and PDE Summerschool (01/07/2019 – 05/07/2019, Nordfjordeid);

  • YMC*A (05/08/2019 – 10/08/2019, Copenhagen);

  • Teaching combinatorics III and math I (2019 - 2020), and library duty;

  • Swedish C class (B1 level, September - December 2019);

  • PhD Mathfest (25/10/2019, Skansen);

  • Masterclass on "Equilibrium states in semigroup theory, K-theory and number theory" (03/11/2019 - 06/11/2019, Oslo);

  • NCM 2020 (06/08/2019 - 09/08/2019, Aalto);

  • YMC*A (10/08/2020 - 15/08/2020, Münster).
