History of Education and Sociology of Education

The research group has an interest in the meaning and evolution of educational systems. The changing conditions of education are highlighted both historically and in present-day terms, on a conceptual and policy level.

About me

I am pursuing a PhD in the history of education, researching the development the School subject of Philosophy and Logic in Sweden during the period 1700-1900. My background is in Liberal Arts (BA) and the history of philosophy (MA), with a focus on educational practices and the philosophy of education in antiquity.
