About me

Ida Viklund joined the Department of Sociology as a graduate student in March 2013. She has a Degree of Master of Political Sciences with Economics as main subject at Uppsala University (2010). She studies parental leave use in Sweden and other Nordic countries, and investigates demographic consequences of couples' parental leave. She also studies parents' use of public childcare in Sweden. Ida is affiliated with the Linnaeus Center on Social Policy and Family Dynamics in Europe (SPaDE), and the Stockholm University SIMSAM Node for Demographic Research (SUNDEM).
