About me

I am a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute for Demography and Socioeconomics of the University of Geneva and part of the Swiss National Center of Competence in Research, nccr – on the move. I am also a lecturer at the University of Neuchâtel in Switzerland. Currently, I am based at SUDA (Stockholm University Demography Unit) as a guest researcher.

My research interests lie in immigrant demography. In 2017, I obtained a PhD in Demography from the University of Geneva with a focus on remigration intentions and behavior of immigrants. In this framework, I launched a new register based longitudinal data base for migration research in Switzerland. I have also coordinated the implementation of two national surveys among immigrants living in Switzerland. Currently, I am involved in a project on the impact of family formation on return migration from a comparative perspective, between Switzerland and Sweden.
