Formal responsibilities

• Development, manufacturing and modification of equipment for research and education.
• Design and manufacturing of analog and digital electronics, and to some extent mechanics.
• Test and calibration of scientific instruments, including computer control based e.g. on Labview.
• Planning and collaboration concerning the integration of scientific instruments within larger research projects (i.g. ice breakers, sounding rockets or field stations).
• Repair of equipment and instruments from other parts of the university.
