About me
Johanna Ringarp is Associate professor in History and in Pedagogy, Phil. Dr in History and senior lecturer in History of Education.
Her research specialties include history of education, educational policy, teacher profession, post-Second world war German history and Educational establishment programs for newly arrived job-seeking migrants 1970s-2000s.
Ringarp is at the moment active in two research projects: The rise of integration: A historical institutionalist analysis of the emergence of the paradigm of integration in Sweden (financed by the Swedish Research Council) and Understading epilepsy. Knowledge, education and stigmatization, 1950-2020 (financed by the Swedish Research Council, project manager Matilda Svensson Chowdhury, Malmö University).
