About me

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Design from KTH. Has previously worked with product development at companies such as Ericsson, FRA etc. Like working with CAD, CAM, FEM and 3D printing.

Tasks  and Responsibilities

I am responsible for the department's workshop. Assists researchers in developing, design and manufacturing equipment for their specific purposes. The workshop has access to CAD, milling machines, lathes, welds, metal 3D printers and more.

On-going activities

Now I am working on developing a small reactor that we have 3D-printed in stainless steel 316L. The next project is a sample cell system. Previous examples are developing a computer controlled blasting machine. Design and manufacturing a special coil to create a 3D magnetic field for experiments in DESY, a national research center in Hamburg Germany that operates particle accelerators.

Equipment to create samples for experiments at Diamond Light Source, a synchrotron light source science facility located at the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus in Oxfordshire, England.
